The museum is not only exhibiting the finds from Krapina but it also tells the story of mankind and describes the history of Earth from the “Big Bang” to the modern humans. Due to the approximately 900 human bone fossils found in the layers of the cave, it is the largest and most extensive collection from a single site.Next to the museum, you can visit the actual excavation site.
