West Hollywood - quiet neighborhood in middle of L.A
I recently visited West Hollywood, traveling on business from San Diego and found the city to be a great location for business meetings, dining and central to everything needed. I was in town for 2-days and wanted to find a hotel that offered everything I needed for business and easy walking to meetings on Santa Monica and Sunset blvd. The hotel I found was Le Montrose, tucked in a great little neighborhood but there are several boutique hotels ( Le Parc, The London, The Grafton ) in the region that can accomodate business travelers, as well as, offer great entertainment options. I found several fun options for dining, but especially enjoyed La Conversation Cafe, for breakfast....great food, excellent service and such an interesting mix of people enjoying the cafe. We also enjoyed  dinner at Rock and Reilly`s, an Irish Pub, with very tasty traditional irish pub food....very casual, good music and great beer selection and next door to the Whiskey on Sunset.Although LA can be a pain to drive....if you can find a central location, for a base, like West Hollywood, it makes life a lot easier!
